Grandmother arrested for third drunk driving offense with 6-year-old in front seat
ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) --An Isabella County grandmother was arrested after police say she was driving drunk with her six-year-old grandchild in the car.
Mount Pleasant police say they were called to the McDonalds near Mission and Pickard Road Tuesday night after reports of a drunk woman.
Officers pulled Kelly Manley over after they say she pulled in front of two cars.
Investigators say Manley had a blood alcohol level of .18.
Officers say the child was in the front seat of the car and not in a child safety seat. The child was turned over to a family member because the parents couldn't be contacted.
Manley is facing charges of child endangerment, operating while intoxicated, third offense and driving on a suspended license.
