A chilly, foggy morning will turn into a sun-filled afternoon.
High pressure in place gives us a couple more days of beautiful weather across the midwest and east coast.
Thursday afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s and low 70s with a light southerly breeze. Although we're starting the day with some patchy fog across the area, that will burn off mid-morning and give way to a lot of sunshine.
Clear skies continue overnight, which will enable inland areas to drop into the 30s, with the majority elsewhere remaining in the 40s.
A quiet overnight and calm morning can be expected for Friday, and it will be another great day to get outside - highs around 70 with plenty of blue skies. Couldn't ask for much better weather for fall high school football games!
Saturday we'll see a mix of sun and clouds, and we'll also have showers moving in during the afternoon and evening hours. Scattered rain sticks around into Sunday. The big change you'll notice the second half of the weekend is the drop in temperatures! Highs go from around 70 to around 60 degrees, and stay there to enter the workweek.
