Home care worker arrested for credit card theft
A former employee of the Otsego County Commission on Aging was arrested for reportedly stealing credit cards from two victims.
The State Police Post in Gaylord reports the investigation started in June of 2013. Troopers say a 21 year old woman from Johannesburg obtained credit cards from both of her victims and then purchased more than one thousand dollars worth of items without their knowledge. At the time, she was a home care provider working for the Otsego County Commission on Aging, which has cooperated throughout the investigation.
The woman was arrested on a two count felony warrant, taken to jail where she posted bond, and is awaiting her arraignment in 87th District Court.
