      Home surrounded by police during standoff

      Officers from the Mecosta County Sheriff's office and Michigan State Police are on scene with a negotiator.


      Three people are hospitalized following at 11-hour standoff in Mecosta County.


      It started around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at a mobile home park on Cramer Road in Mecosta Township. According to

      WOOD TV8

      , the original call that brought police to the home was for a domestic dispute.


      Family members at the scene told reporter Koco McAboy, a man broke into the house and ordered everyone to take their clothes off. The family members said a 21-year-old woman and her 7-month-old daughter were inside the home. There were also two other young adults inside.


      WOOD TV8 reports the 21-year-old and 7-month-old were taken to a hospital. The standoff ended around 7:30 a.m. but police are still outside the home.


      The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office is holding a press conference and will release more details at 10 a.m. this morning.
