Homeowner arrested for confronting snow plow driver with gun

A 56 year old Houghton Lake man was arrested Friday after police say he confronted his snow plow driver with a handgun.

According to State Police, the 41 year old victim was snow plowing a residence per contract, and was approached by the homeowner who was disappointed with the snow plowing job.

Police say words were exchanged and the homeowner reportedly ran back to his home, got a loaded handgun, and came back outside and pointed the gun at the plow driver.

The handgun was not fired and the plow driver left the scene and called 911.

The homeowner was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon and is in the Roscommon County Jail.
