Hundreds still without power after weekend spring storm
NORTHERN MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU) -- Hundreds of people in northern Michigan are still without power after the storm over the weekend.
Electric companies have been working around the clock to restore the power to customers as fast as possible.
According to Great Lakes Energy, power has been restores to more than 16,000 customers since the weekend.
Right now, there are 61 Great Lakes Energy customers still without power.
At this time, Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-Op still has more than 500 customers without power, with most of them being in Montmorency and Alpena counties.
