Husband, wife sentenced to jail following underage drinking party
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A husband and wife will spend time behind bars for allowing minors to drink alcohol at their home.
Geoffrey and Duanne Boylan pleaded guilty back in July to furnishing alcohol to minors.
Geoffrey was facing three counts and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
Duanne faced one count and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
In court, Geoffrey Boylan admitted he knew his daughter's high school classmates were drinking alcohol. As part of the plea agreement, charges against 18-year-old Hannah Boylan will be reduced to a misdemeanor, minor in possession.
