      Inmate missing after working on community service project

      An inmate that was working on a community service project in the Shepherd area is missing after failing to return to the jail.

      An inmate that was working on a community service project in the Shepherd area has been found after failing to return to the jail.

      The Isabella County Sheriff's Department was looking for Edward John LaLone, 29. He was located by Midland County SHeriff's Department on Friday around 9:30 a.m.

      He is 5"9', 150 pounds, short cropped black hair with hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a bright green t-shirt with the words, "Party in the park," on the front and "staff" on the back.

      LaLone was also wearing grayish/blue pants and white tennis shoes.

      According to the sheriff's department, LaLone has numerous tattoos on his arms and a swastika on his chest.
