A Mount Pleasant man is behind bars after Michigan State Police say he forced his way inside a house, pushed two women inside and threatened them, along with police.
It happened late Saturday night in Isabella County's Union Township.
Troopers say the 28-year-old man was intoxicated and threatened to harm the women and the police if they were called.
Troopers arrested the man who was found to have a blood alcohol level of .17.
He was on parole and was not allowed to have alcohol.
Troopers also found the man had a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
He was taken to the Isabella County Jail. Troopers say he will be arraigned in Isabella County's 76th District Court on two counts of misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor illegal entry into a residence, possession of marijuana, and a parole detainer/violation.
