Just rain...for a while
Rain will move into northern Michigan from the west overnight. With temperatures being warm enough that the rain will not turn into snow. We will see low temperatures ranging from 35 to 42 degrees. Light wind is also expected to be around for a while.
Wednesday morning make sure to look for rain showers and increasing wind. Gusts up to 25 mph will be common with gusts possibly getting higher along the shoreline of the Great Lakes. High temperatures will be 38 to 48 degrees. The rain will come and go but the heavier rain will be in the morning.
Temperatures will fall Wednesday night as the rain begins winding down. The rain will change to snow with a little accumulation if you see any. The wind will continue to gust over 25 mph. Temperatures will be as low as 22 to 32 degrees so be on the look out for slippery roads.
Thursday morning there could be a few flurries left behind but they will end early in the day. The sun could make a partial appearance during the day. Temperature highs will be about 10 degrees colder than Wednesday at 28 to 38 degrees. Winds will reach 10 to 20 mph.
We can expect a mix of rain and snow showers both Friday and Saurday. Highs from the middle 30s to middle 40s.
Sunday will be colder with highs in the middle 20s to middle 30s. So, no "mix" just snow showers.
