Keep the umbrella and jacket handy

Cool weather and scattered rain look to continue for the next couple of days.
Weak low pressure is currently located near the Dakotas. It will pass to the south of us toward Kentucky as we go through Wednesday and Thursday.
This will touch off scattered light rain showers during the day on Wednesday, overnight, and into Thursday. Temperature-wise, expect afternoon high temperatures to reach mainly into the 60s, but a few upper 50s aren't ruled out. Winds will remain easterly at 5-15mph.
Spotty showers are possible into Thursday, but high pressure moving in brings dry weather and less cloud cover. We'll also warm up a bit into the upper 60s.
Friday will be the day you can grab the sunglasses heading out the door! We'll have sunshine to end the workweek, and high temps hitting around 70 degrees.
Pleasant weather will carry over into Saturday, but our next system arrives Sunday to bring us our next chance of rain.
