The man officials believe was at the center of a three-county meth manufacturing operation will spend at least six years behind bars.
Dennis Milton Short was sentenced today to between 6 and 30 years in prison.
Short entered a guilty plea in May to one count of conspiring to maintain a meth lab and one count of possession of methamphetamine.
According to police reports, Short was found to be the leader among several individuals who have been convicted and sentenced for their roles in the manufacture of methamphetamine in Antrim County.
A second person arrested in this case, Richard Brown, will be sentenced Thursday. He entered a guilty plea to conspiring to maintain a meth lab.
