The property FBI agents searched on North St. Mary's Street in Suttons Bay on Friday is owned by Cecily Horton, according to county records.
Horton and her husband own two homes in Houston, Texas and another in Bryan, Texas that were also searched by the FBI Friday, according to KPRC Local 2 News.
Sources told WDIV in Detroit that agents were searching for chemicals that could be used to make tear gas or nerve gas and that agents were focusing on the couple's son.
FBI spokesman Robert Beekman in Detroit confirmed the Michigan raids but says the affidavits that led to them are sealed and so he can't disclose any information about links to raids elsewhere.
The Leelanau County Sheriff's Department said about 60 federal agents are participated in the investigation, which led to raids Friday in Suttons Bay and Leelanau Township.
