Long-time customers enjoy re-opening of restaurant

The Buckley restaurant opened its doors back up on Sept. 1 after it was destroyed by a fire in March.

Monday morning long time customers enjoyed the reopening of Patty Cakes.

The Buckley restaurant opened its doors back up on Sept. 1 after it was destroyed by a fire in March.

The tables were full and one couple was excited to be back.

??You can come in and y'all sit down at the table and if you know each other or if you don't you sit down with them anyways so you don't have to come here and be alone, you can come here and be with people and laugh and talk and have a wonderful meal so I'm glad to have it open again we sure missed it while it was closed,?? says frequent customer David Schichtel.

Since the fire crews worked hard to rebuild the Patty Cakes restaurant and bakery from the ground up.

Owner Patty Kellogg says she's excited to get back to work... and is grateful for the community support she's received.

Patty Cakes is once again open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
