Man accused of stealing thousands from hospital pleads guilty

Ales will be sentenced on July 11th.

The man accused of embezzling thousands from Munson Medical Center has plead guilty.

On Friday, Jeffrey Ales plead guilty to one charge of embezzlement more than $1 thousand and less than $20 thousand.

A hospital spokesperson said Ales used hospital funds to buy personal items that added up to more than $27 thousand.

Ales will be sentenced on July 11th.

In May, Ales plead not guilty to a higher charge of embezzlement from a non-profit, which is a ten-year felony.
