A 34-year-old Cedar man was arrested Friday after driving to court drunk.
According to the Leelanau County Sheriff, the man arrived to court for a civil hearing at 8:45 a.m. smelling of alcohol.
After court personnel alerted the bailiff, a road patrol deputy used surveillance footage of the courthouse parking lot to determine the man had driven there.
He was arrested and is being charged with operating while intoxicated third offense. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
