Man in critical condition after losing control of snowmobile in Antrim County
A 47-year-old man is in critical condition after losing control of his snowmobile and hitting a tree Saturday.
According to the Antrim County Sheriff, the crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. on Pinney Bridge Road about 3.6 miles east of M-66 in Chestonia Township.
The man has been identified as Baron Black, 47, of Ohio.
The Sheriff reports Black was operating a 2013 Polaris snowmobile and was traveling east when he veered off the trail, losing control of the snowmobile and hitting a tree.
Black was airlifted to Munson Medical Center for treatment.
It is currently unknown if alcohol was a factor.
The Sheriff reports Black is in critical condition as of Sunday.
