Man with rifle threatens girlfriend, State Police
A 31-year-old Alpena man is facing a half of dozen charges after a domestic violence incident in Maple Ridge Township Monday night.
State police said the suspect was threatening to kill his girlfriend and anyone else at the scene.
Troopers made contact with the man in front of the house and took him into custody at gun point.
The victim was able to escape the home with minor injuries before State Police arrived.
The suspect has been charged with felonious assault-family domestic violence, domestic violence, resisting and obstructing a police officer, possession of a firearm under the influence, and interfering with electronic communication.
