Mecosta County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a deadly car crash early Sunday morning.
Deputies found two people around 1 a.m. who were thrown from the car after it left the road and flipped several times at 30th Avenue and 17 Mile Road.
Deputies say the vehicle was passing another vehicle at the time of the crash, but say there was no collision between the two vehicles.
23-year-old Adam Byberg from Remus and 22-year-old Aaron Clark from Barryton died at the scene.
The 22-year-old male driver and a 23-year-old passenger were taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say the car crashed at high speeds and the victims were not wearing seatbelts.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
