Medical marijuana clinics forced to close down in Wexford County
Five medical marijuana clinics in Wexford County are being told to close down and users will have to go somewhere else for their medical marijuana after Wednesday July 9.
"The current operating entities will be served with a letter requesting immediate cease and desist action, and if they do not comply, prosecution will occur, according to current law," says Wexford County Prosecutor Anthony Badovinac.
According to the Michigan Supreme Court, the dispensaries and clinics are illegal.
"All entities dabbling in Medical Marijuana Provisioning in Wexford County will officially noticed by law enforcement today of the need to close down," says Prosecutor Badovinac..
