A fundraiser in honor of fallen State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield would allow his father to set up a scholarship fund that would benefit law enforcement students.
T-shirts displaying Tropper Butterfield's name and trooper number are being sold through the Michigan State Police Troopers Assistance Fund.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the scholarship fund.
Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole is also selling decals that benefit the same fund. Sheriff Cole says in about a day and a half, 200 decals have been sold.
