Meth dump site found in Missaukee County
A meth lab dump site was found in Reeder Township on Sunday.
According to the Traverse Narcotics Team, the site was discovered by a person on a walk who noticed the items on the side of the road.
Investigators reported finding chemical components and an apparatus used in the cooking of meth.
The components used to cook meth as well as the chemicals and their bi-products are considered environmentally contaminated and unsafe.
TNT reports meth labs are becoming a large problem and officials are asking the public be on the lookout for dump sites.
