Meth operation discovered in Cadillac cabin

One man was arrested on an unrelated charge after police found meth manufacturing components and apparatus in a Cadillac cabin.

The Traverse Narcotics Team and Cadillac Police Department discovered numerous chemical components and apparatus used in manufacturing methamphetamine Saturday while conducting a search warrant at a Cadillac cabin.

Police arrested one man from the cabin on an unrelated charge.

Cadillac Police contacted TNT after noticing the meth manufacturing components and apparatus while searching the cabin with consent in relation to a breaking and entering and ongoing death investigation. TNT then obtained a search warrant for the cabin, located at 1760 North Blvd., Cabin #5.

TNT had also received anonymous tips that illegal drugs were being manufactured, used, and sold from the cabin. In addition to the meth manufacturing components and apparatus, investigators seized unknown pills.

It is unknown at this time what charge the suspect arrested from the cabin is facing.
