The mother of the man convicted of killing State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield has been sentenced.
Tammi Spofford appeared in a Mason County court Tuesday afternoon for sentencing.
Spofford was sentenced to 18-60 months behind bars for the charge of accessory after the fact in the murder of Butterfield in September.
Spofford pleaded no contest to the charge. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but is treated as such for sentencing purposes.
Eric Knysz was convicted in the murder of Butterfield in early April. Two weeks later, he committed suicide in his cell at the Jackson Correctional Facility.
