Motorcyclist airlifted to Munson Medical Center after collision with pick up truck
WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A motorcyclist was airlifted to Munson Medical Center after a head on crash with a truck in Wexford County Sunday afternoon.
It happened on M-42 just west of US-131.
Michigan State Police says a pickup truck was leaving a private driveway trying to turn left on M-42 and crashed into the path of the east bound motorcycle.
The 55-year-old Manton man riding the motorcycle was ejected and sustained serious injuries.
The 73-year old pickup truck driver also from Manton was not injured.
Troopers say they do not believe speed, alcohol, or drugs are a factor in the crash but an investigation is underway.
