Mt. Pleasant man arrested for having marijuana, marijuana butter and open rum in car
A 21-year-old Mt. Pleasant man was arrested after having marijuana, marijuana butter and an open pint of rum in his car.
According to Michigan State Police, troopers stopped a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix for texting and driving around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
After a conversation with the driver, troopers found the driver to have "suspicious and conflicting information about his travels."
The driver admitted to troopers that he had "a lot" of marijuana in the car. Troopers found approximately a quarter-pound of marijuana, marijuana butter and an open pint of Captain Morgan rum.
The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and open intoxicants.
