Muskegon County man charged with assault in stabbing over cell phone
The 24-year-old man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfiend's fiance in an argument over a cell phone has been charged.
Jacob C. Kozlowski, of Montague, was charged with felonious assault and assault with a dangerous weapon in the stabbing Sunday evening.
Oceana County Sheriff's deputies report a 41-year-old Hesperia man was taken to the hospital with a one-inch wound just below his neck.
Deputies said the weapon appeared to be a three to four-inch knife.
The suspect, Kozlowski, could not immediately be found, but was found Wednesday in a camper on a piece of private property in southern Oceana County off of S. 100th Ave.
Kozlowski is being held in the Oceana County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
