A domestic assault complaint led deputies to find and seize nearly 1,000 marijuana plants in Antrim County.
The Antrim County Sheriff's office responded to the complaint in Alden on Monday. While investigating, deputies discovered thirty marijuana plants growing outside the home.
The investigation led detectives from the Traverse Narcotics Team to seize 962 marijuana plants, two pounds of processed marijuana ready for sale, $1,700 in cash, a Toyota pickup truck, $25,000 in grow operation equipment and a 12 gauge shotgun.
TNT detectives say this was not a medical marijuana grow operation.
One suspect has been identified and the complaint will be forwarded to the Antrim County Prosecutor when the investigation is complete.
