Northern Michigan man sentenced in 2015 overdose death
ANTRIM COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A man accused in a 2015 overdose death has been sentenced.
Wade Druckenmiller pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance and possession of meth in April.
Druckenmiller also pleaded guilty to habitual offender second offense.
With the plea deal, two original counts of delivery of a controlled substance causing death and controlled substance delivery/manufacture will be dropped at sentencing.
According to Antrim County sheriff's deputies, Druckenmiller sold drugs to Damien Smith, who later died from a drug overdose.
Autopsy reports show Smith had large amounts of heroin and fentanyl in his system.
Druckenmiller was sentenced to 11 to 22.5 years in prison on Monday.
