One charged after 66-year-old's death in Sault Ste. Marie
CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich. (WBPN/WGTU)--A 20-year-old has been charged with involuntary manslaughter following a fight that turned deadly.
Lindsey Hatfield from Brimley was charged Friday with homicide, involuntary manslaughter.
According to court documents, Hatfield hit 66-year-old John Hanover in the face during a fight in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Hanover fell backwards, couldn't slow himself, and hit his head on the ground. The fall caused severe damage to Hanover, which he later died from those injuries.
