Northern Michigan man killed in Kalkaska County crash
KALKASKA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- One man was killed in a Kalkaska County car crash Tuesday afternoon.
Michigan State Police say a Kalkaska County Road Commission truck was stopped, waiting to make a left turn off of M-72 when a 21-year-old man driving a sedan crashed into it.
The driver of the sedan was killed. Troopers say the man driving the road commission truck was taken to the hospital but had very minor injuries.
Police had to close down M-72 between Goose Creek Road and Manistee River Road until about 5:30 p.m.
The name of the man killed is not being released at this time, but police say he was from northern Michigan.
