One month and hundreds of tips later, police still working to ID hit and run suspect

It has been one month since 29-year-old Kelly Boyce Hurlbert was hit and killed while riding her bike on Washington Street in Traverse City.
However, police say their investigation is not slowing down.
As of Monday morning, there have been 541 tips submitted and police said they are investigating every single one.
Traverse City Police began talking to neighbors with help from the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office, Michigan State Police and the FBI to see if anyone saw anything suspicious.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Police are reminding residents that the vehicle that hit and killed Hurlbert has been described as a dark or black pick-up truck or SUV. Anyone with information is urged to call the Police Department at 231-995-5152.
Hurlbert was killed while riding her bike on Washington Street on July 5. According to police reports she was hit by the dark SUV and dragged for more than 1 1/2 blocks. Friends and family said she was riding her bike home from North Peak Brewing Company where she worked.
