One person dead after Manistee County house fire
MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A person is dead after a house fire in Manistee County.
It happened at 17611 Wells Road in Cleon Township around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday.
The Cleon Township Fire Department says the home was fully engulfed when they arrived on scene.
Investigators say the victim's body was found in the bathroom of the home.
The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
The Manistee County Sheriff's Office says the owner of the home was contacted and was not home at the time of the fire.
The MSP Fire Marshall and the Manistee County Medical Examiner is on scene investigating the cause.
