A 46-year-old Harrison man was arrested after deputies found an active meth lab in his detached garage.
A Michigan Department of Corrections officer and a sergeant from the Clare County Sheriff's Department made contact with the man, who is a parolee, at his home in Dodge City Monday around 2 p.m.
Authorities found a "suspicious bottle" in the garage, then went around back to find an active meth lab inside the detached garage.
The man was arrested on a parole violation charge, but other charges are being sought pertaining to the meth lab.
The lab was contained with help from the Harrison Community Fire Department and Bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team.
The man's name has not yet been released by authorities.
