Pharmacist facing multiple sex charges
The Ogemaw County Prosecutor has charged William Schaefer of Lupton with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree and one count of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree.
According to the prosecutor, the count of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree alleges that Schaefer had sexual contact with another person, while knowing or having reason to know that the victim was physically helpless.
The prosecutor says Schaefer was working as a pharmacist at the time of the alleged offenses.
Schaefer had a preliminary hearing in 82nd District Court and was bound over to the 34th Circuit Court for arraignment on February 19.
