A four seated aircraft crashed right after leaving the runway at Manistee Blacker Airport in Manistee Township on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Manistee County Sheriff's Office, the nose gear of the plane was unable to clear the surrounding fence causing the plane to slide into the wooded area, hitting many trees.
Four males were on the plane, a 37-year-old Lansing pilot, a 25-year-old instructor pilot from Bellaire, a 54-year-old and 27-year-old passengers from Lansing.
All four sustained minor injuries but the back seat passengers were transported to West Shore Medical Center for treatment.
The crash is under investigation.
