Police: children missing out of Muskegon found safe

Grand Rapids police say the children missing out of Muskegon, prompting an amber alert, have been found safe. Police say the suspect, Jaraun Dequan Render, 22, is still on the loose.

MUSKEGON, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Grand Rapids police say the children missing out of Muskegon, that prompted an amber alert, have been found safe.

Authorities say 16-month-old Jariah Render, 2-year-old Ja-Raun Render and 3-year-old Lamir Jamerson went missing after a shooting Tuesday night.

Police say the suspect, Jaraun Dequan Render, 22, is still on the loose. He was last seen driving a burgundy Chevrolet Suburban.

Render faces charges of assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm.
