Police: children missing out of Muskegon found safe

Grand Rapids police say the children missing out of Muskegon, prompting an amber alert, have been found safe.{ }Police say the suspect, Jaraun Dequan Render, 22, is still on the loose.

MUSKEGON, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Grand Rapids police say the children missing out of Muskegon, that prompted an amber alert, have been found safe.

Authorities say 16-month-old Jariah Render, 2-year-old Ja-Raun Render and 3-year-old Lamir Jamerson went missing after a shooting Tuesday night.

Police say the suspect, Jaraun Dequan Render, 22, is still on the loose. He was last seen driving a burgundy Chevrolet Suburban.

Render faces charges of assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm.
