      Police looking for suspect in armed robbery of gas station

      According to the Cadillac Police Department, the robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday at the Admiral's Gas Station at 805 S. Mitchell St.

      Cadillac Police are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery of a gas station Friday morning.

      According to the Cadillac Police Department, the robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday at the Admiral's Gas Station at 805 S. Mitchell St.

      Police say the first units on scene were there just two minutes after the robbery. Sheriff's deputies and Michigan State Police were in the area within five minutes.

      Police say the suspect, wearing a white mask, entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and made off with an unknown amount of money.

      The suspect is reported to have left the gas station on foot and gone east on Mosser St. before heading north through the alley between Mosser St. and Cobb St.

      A Michigan State Police dog tried to track the suspect but was unable to find him.

      The suspect is described as male, approximately 5'8", wearing a dark coat, dark pants, a dark hat and dark gloves.

      The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cadillac Police Department.
