A traffic stop in Clare County led to the arrest of a woman for controlled substance violations.
State Police say Amanda Wolcott, 28, of Beaverton, was driving erratically and at a high rate of speed when she was stopped on Harding Ave. near M-115.
During the traffic stop, troopers saw a controlled substance in plain view, which led to a search of the vehicle.
Troopers found additional controlled substances, including heroin, marijuana and items used to distribute the drugs.
Police say she also appeared to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic.
Wolcott was arrested on multiple controlled substance charges and Operating While Intoxicated. She will be in court next on June 24.
