Pothole repairs keeping northern Michigan crews busy
Recent warm temperatures have most drivers dodging potholes and crews are busy trying to fix them.
Crews were working on northern Michigan roads Monday trying to keep up with pothole repairs caused by the freezing and thawing cycles.
Cadillac has $139,000 dollars in the budget for road surface projects which includes pothole patching.
Crews fill potholes with a cold patch mixture and usually patch holes all year.
Once the drivers get a break from plowing snow they head out to fill the potholes.
When the snow starts flying again, plow drivers are asking the public to keep a safe distance from their trucks.
