Procter and Gamble tests public bathroom soap alarm
A new product is being tested in the Philippines and it's...alarming.
Safeguard is testing the effectiveness of a soap dispenser that senses when a bathroom user has left a stall and sounds an audible alarm that does not shut off until soap is used.
The product is being tested to encourage people to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Procter & Gamble developed the product after finding the number of disease causing germs on public bathroom toilets to be alarming.
