Quiet mid-October weather carries on through this week
We wake up Tuesday morning with warmer temperatures. We had frost in spots Monday morning but 40's/50's have replaced the frost threat with a south/southwest wind in place to start our Tuesday.
The weather remains quiet this week. The main storm track will pass well north of Michigan with the only small issue in weather this week being a cold front that will pass (without any rain) Wednesday night leading to a somewhat cooler day Thursday.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny. Highs climb into the 60s. Wind 10-20 mph inland...higher gusts along the Great Lakes.
Tuesday night...mostly clear sky. Lows in the 40s. Wind 5-15 mph, but gusts over 20 along the shore of the Great Lakes.
Wednesday will be sunny with highs 62 to 72 degrees. Wind will gust over 30 mph along the Great Lakes...and inland winds will gust over 20 mph.
Thursday...sunny...highs 55 to 65.
Friday...more sunshine...highs in the 60s.
The next chance for any rain will not arrive across Northern Michigan until Sunday at the earliest when a cold front will cross the area.
