Road closure as crews continue to clean up fuel from tanker crash
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A road in Grand Traverse County will be partially closed as crews continue to clean up the mess after a fuel tanker spilled almost 6,000 gallons of fuel.
The crash happened Christmas Eve on Beitner Road in Blair Township.
The closure will go into effect 9 a.m. and will affect the eastbound lane of Beitner Road from US-31 to Williams Road.
Drivers will be able to use the westbound lane but shift lanes along the work zone.
It is expected to last until Friday, January 5th and 5 p.m.
