Road Commission wants $6 million bond to fix roads
The Grand Traverse County Road Commission is asking for a $6 million bond to fix the roads.
7&4 News is told that 80 percent of the county's roads are considered to be in "poor condition" and some are unsafe to drive on.
Officials from the Road Commission say $4 million of the bond will be used to fix road problems and the other $2 million will be used for equipment.
The bond will be discussed at the Road Commission meeting on Wednesday.
