A 26-year-old teacher, from Houghton Lake, was arraigned in Roscommon County for allegedly assaulting two adult students with disabilities after a long investigation starting March 27.
Kaitlyn Goslin, a teacher at COOR Educational Center with the COOR Intermediate School District, was reported by other staff members of her inappropriate behavior with the students.
The two adult students have mental and physical handicaps as well as being non-verbal.
According to the Gerrish Township Police Department, she was placed on administration leave and then resigned before the school district could conduct an investigation.
Goslin is facing three counts of assault and battery.
A trial status conference is scheduled for Sept. 2.
