Sex Offender faces charges for multiple teenage victims

A Pinckney man faces charges for providing alcohol, cigarettes and marijuana to five teenagers, and then sexually assaulting two of them.

Troopers from Gaylord State Police Post arrested Anthony Caroen, age 42 of Pinckney, MI on criminal sexual conduct charges in the 1st and 2nd degrees, and attempted 3rd degree.

Troopers say that Caroen visited a family cabin in Littlefield Township in Emmet County where he is accused of providing alcohol, cigarettes, and marijuana to five teenagers. They say that two of those teenagers became victims of a sexual assault.

Caroen was arraigned in 90th District Court on Monday and bond was set at $500. It is expected that the Emmet County Prosecutor's office will authorize additional charges in the future.

Caroen is already a registered sex offender in Michigan.
