The upcoming forecast will take us on a yo-yo ride with the temperatures as we will see some large changes over the next week.
A cold front is passing Northern Michigan Wednesday bringing with it a few clouds and a reinforcing shot of cooler weather that will be with us through at least Thursday night. Temperatures Wednesday will struggle into the mid-60's over the Eastern U.P. where the front will pass first, but along/south of highway M-55 temperatures will climb into the mid/upper-70's.
All of Northern Michigan will see clear skies Wednesday night allowing temperatures to freefall into the low/mid-40's although a few upper and even mid-30's are a distinct possibility in our coldest outlying locations.
Although full sunshine will be in play Thursday, a cool northwest wind will keep temperatures from warming much with most spots coming in a bit short of 70F.
Friday into the weekend warmer weather will quickly return with high temperatures well into the 70's and even a few 80's sprouting up. We also introduce the chance Saturday for a few showers/thunderstorms as another cold front rolls on by. Another round of warmth arrives early next week with increasing signs of very warm weather by next Tuesday. We'll keep you updated.
