Sheriff: Charges filed in hit-and-run death
WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Charges have been filed for the suspected driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Wexford County.
The Wexford County Prosecutor's Office issued criminal charges Friday in the crash that killed a pedestrian more than a month ago.
On August 26, Keith Taylor, 47, from Midland was hit by a car while he was walking in front of the Buck Snort Bar in Mesick. Taylor was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect was identified from an anonymous tip reported two days after the crash. The same tip helped find the car suspected to be involved in the crash.
The name of the suspect is being withheld until arraignment.
The investigation is ongoing.
