Speed and alcohol were factors in Chippewa County rollover
Four people are in the hospital after a early morning rollover crash in Chippewa County.
Sheriff's Deputies responded to the crash on 10 Mile Road in Dafter, where deputies determined there were five occupants all under the age of 21.
One of the subjects was ejected from the car as it rolled.
The investigation found that both excessive speed and alcohol were a factor in the incident.
Four of the five were transported to War Memorial Hospital for their injuries. The fifth person fled the scene on foot and was later identified.
Names are not being released due to the ongoing investigation, but the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office does say they will be requesting warrants for the occupants and possibly others.
