Looks like weâ??re going into a lengthy period when rain chances are small. Tonight and Tuesday we will see some scattered showers and thunderstorms mostly west of I-75 in the Lower Peninsula. Once we get to Tuesday nightâ?|that begins a dry time for us in northern Michigan. After Tuesdayâ?|you may not see rain for the rest of the week or next weekend.
Highs for the next several days will be mostly 70s. I might stay in the upper 60s near the Great Lakesâ?|and it may reach 80 in a few places south of Cadillac. Sunny with a few passing clouds in the dayâ?|partly cloudy at nightâ?|light wind.
Very quiet for a whileâ?|and because of the drynessâ?|the fire danger will rise.
